The Radharc Squad — Miniseries

The establishment of the Radharc series and the early programmes made in Ireland. Radharc showed television viewers back home the work of the Irish Missionaries abroad. The film 'Radharc in Derry 1964', looking at the social injustice in that city, was not broadcast for 25 years.

As the role of the Catholic Church in Irish society is increasingly questioned, so is the function of Radharc. They focus outside of Ireland on religious politics and liberation theology in South and Central America, the Philippines, and Kenya.
